Description
The Power of Perspective:
Aligning Perceptual Positions
There are 3 basic filters (or perceptual positions) we operate from when experiencing any given event or situation.
Often, we become stuck in one particular position, cutting off the insight and resources available in the others, leaving us feeling ineffective, frustrated and unheard.
The Power of Perspective will show you how to move at will between these positions, using them consciously to obtain a richer, more accurate desc ription of any situation, thereby giving you more options to choose from!
Stop “driving from the trunk” and learn how to:
Prevent others from taking advantage of you…
Observe interactions objectively and maintain a personal safety zone so you can get your point across…
Empathize with others without losing your “self”…
Differentiate between someone else’s unique way of thinking and your own…
Gain multiple perspectives on any situation…
Improve the comprehension of your communication for more satisfying relationships of all kinds…
