Morihei Ueshiba (founder of Aikido) and Hakudo Nakamura (Kendo, Iaido and Jodo hanshi) were martial arts legends of the Meiji era in Japan and both shared a mutual appreciation and respect for one another.

This DVD features rare pre-war footage of both masters at their best! Nakamura can be seen practicing Iaido, Jodo and tameshigiri. Ueshiba can be seen in detail at his 1935 demonstration and also in clips of demonstrations in his 80s.
