- Stock Trade Blue Print Short Term Trading – Step-by-step approach trading stocks
- Position Size and Liquidity – Learn to determine the number of shares (or size) to place on a position to reduce risk
- Core Strategy Review – Supply and Demand is the foundation of all asset trades
- Key Reports – Learn how key Economic Reports, Earnings Announcements and Upgrades/Downgrades affect stocks, and ways to source the information
Day 2
- Trading Routine – Learn the key considerations for creating a daily regimen for trading activities
- Gaps – Identify common types of gaps and how to manage gaps when trading
- Top-Down Analysis – Analyze the relationship between broad markets, sectors, and individual stocks
- Relative Strength Ratio Analysis – Identify which asset classes, sectors, and stocks using Relative Strength
- Stock Trade Planning – Learn the importance of having a trade plan and planning trades
Day 3
- Stock Selection for Investing – Identify the criteria for stock selection as it relates to longer-term trading and investing ideas
- Key Reports for Investing – Learn how the Key Economic and Earning Reports are used for longer-term investing
- Trade Blueprint – Use the step-by-step Trade Blueprint to apply top-down techniques for building a trade opportunity
- Using Options with Stocks – Discover three basic Options strategies that can be used in conjunction with stocks
Day 4
- Fundamentals for Stocks – Use fundamental analysis for identifying investing opportunities
- Stock Selection Through Value Investing – Learn to identify stocks trading at a discount by analyzing their value to their current price
- Determining a Quality Company – Learn how to assess the “quality” of a company as a sub-set of fundamental analysis
- International Equities – Learn how to gain access to key international markets through domestic stock exchanges
Day 5
- Investors Mindset and Expectations – Understand how to manage the unpredictable outcomes and expect the unknown
- Psychology of Trading – Learn the psychology of how investors confront fear and greed when navigating the markets
- Trade Journaling – Learn the tools provided by OTA to help students track progress and identify areas of strength and weakness that can be improved upon
- 10 Survival Skills – Learn the top ten tips to help minimize the trap of repeating mistakes
