Grandmaster Rodel Dagooc
He began his Arnis Modern training under the founder of Arnis Modern, Professor Remy Presas, 10th Dan., as early as 1969. Due to his dynamic movements, he got the nickname “smoking stick”.
He received 8th Dan, Lakan Walo Modern Arnis in 1999 directly from Grandmaster GM Remy Presas.
In July 2010 he was awarded 9th Dan, Lakan Siyam Modern Arnis from a filipion board and international FMA Grandmasters.
He is teaching Modern Arnis and its system at his organization “Arnis Association International Inc.” In Batangas and in Manila and he is teaching seminars all over the world.
Its member organization of the “World Family of Modern Arnis”, WFMA.
