Understanding Canvases and Pages

Now that you have your bearings, we’ll be explaining the differences between canvases and canvas settings as well as site canvases, plus pages and page settings. Tongue-tied, much? We promise you’ll get the hang of it quickly. You’ll also learn our favorite keyboard shortcuts so you can move quickly through each design canvas, as well as how to layer content through canvas views. Phew!

Loading & Customizing Brand-Specific Content

Here’s where the site really starts to take shape – it’s time to upload all branded content & assets, from custom fonts and colors, to logos, and images. We’ll also cover how to edit text boxes, add link functions, create movement through video or galleries, connect to social profiles, make use of contact forms (or embed a third party one), and align it all to a T.

With photography, copy, and branding set, it’s time to have a little fun and find your creative flow. Blogging with WordPress

This is such a great feature of Showit—and it’s also where frustration sets in for most beginners. But not with us showing you the ropes! You’ll learn how Showit and WordPress work together, how to submit a blog setup/migration, how to create and adjust WordPress blog templates, as well as other WordPress properties like ‘In Post Loop’ versus ‘Post View Lookup’ and finding your way around the WordPress backend.
