For the first time, the Ridhwan School will offer a deeper level of online teaching through the Diamond Approach. “Lightness of Being” is a six-part series that will take place over six weeks from February to August 2021. It will explore the lataif (the plural of latifa), the subtle qualities of our being that invite us to experience the pure, unshakeable truth of our nature, dispelling the belief that we are separate individuals from our spirit.

Each latifa takes us beyond our ordinary perceptual world into a realm of vivid experience, embodying these subtler qualities, allowing us to touch our inner seeing, inner hearing, and even our inner tasting. This, in turn, enriches and deepens our experience, allowing the human spirit to grow and expand.

Introductory Experience for New Students

Although the lataif are extremely subtle, they are relatively accessible and can be experienced in both dual and non-dual states of existence. For this reason, “Lightness of Being” serves as both an excellent introduction to the Diamond Approach and an opportunity for seasoned spiritual seekers to delve deeper into each quality and experience the depth this path offers.

This series will also be mandatory for all students registering for our first Diamond Approach Online group, which is expected to begin meeting in the fall of 2021. Since the onset of COVID-19, we have transitioned all current in-person groups to online formats for safety reasons. The experiences arising from this transition have been very inspiring, so we feel there is a genuine possibility to offer a continuous group in this format.

The focus of this program is our intention to cultivate a dedicated international group of students from diverse cultural and background perspectives, who can continue to engage with the group for a period of time. This is a unique opportunity for those who wish to embark on this path in a continuous way but cannot participate in the usual in-person style we prefer. This group is exclusively for new students.
