Description : The ADCC (Abu Dhabi Combat Club) World Submission Wrestling Championship is the most prestigious competition held every two years (in odd years) where athletes with high rankings in jiu-jitsu, wrestling, judo, sambo and mixed martial arts.

Competition rules prohibit strikes, permitted throws, wrestling, painful and suffocating holds. Fighters like Fabrizio Werdum, Demian Maya, Hodger Gracie, Jeff Monson, Ronaldo Jacaré Sousa became champions of these tournaments.

In 2011, UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar will participate in them.
