Description:
For most of us, sexuality holds the potential for connection, relationship and joy. But as Nine-Centered beings, our sexuality has also been a source of complex emotions and impulses that are not easily understood. When our relationships are strong and vibrant, it seems we have the skill to make the most of our experience as sexual beings. When we experience doubt, guilt, depression or disappointment in our relationships, it may sometimes seem that there are no reliable guidelines and no possibility of healthy, fulfilling sexuality and connection. As Ra puts it: there is something wrong … and we don’t quite know what it is.
If you have identified effective approaches to sexuality and relationship in your own life, be prepared to re-examine those approaches in light of the changes we will be experiencing in the next years. With our bodies designed to focus on mating and reproduction, we have been driven by our physical and emotional needs. That drive is changing as we near the end of an era. The coming mutation will cause us to experience a change to these fundamental aspects of our lives as we learn to express our sexual identity uniquely and with awareness.
Human Design offers effective approaches to human sexuality based on your Design. The Design of Human Sexuality is a new release — an 11-lesson/hour audio course with eBook transcript (here’s an excerpt) and classroom recordings in video. The audio and transcript explore a course that Ra Uru Hu presented over eleven weeks, and offers insight into human sexuality and maintaining satisfying relationships in accordance with our Design.
What will change for you when you enter into and sustain your relationships based on your unique Design and, as Ra puts it, allow your vehicle to take over in your life? Join Ra for this fascinating approach to human sexuality.
Here’s what you’ll get: The Design Of Human Sexuality
Lesson 1: The Genetic Imperative to Reproduce
Our bodies were designed to focus on mating and reproduction, and for millennia humans have been driven by our physical and emotional needs. As the coming mutation approaches, we will experience a change as we learn to express our sexual identity uniquely and with awareness. There are two specific Gates that determine our unique sexual role; this lesson takes us through each Line of the first Role Gate.
Lesson 2: The Waves The Design Of Human Sexuality
This lesson continues with the second of the Role Gates that determine our sexual role. Ra discusses the duality of each Line, the innate themes we each carry, sexual dysfunction, and how we can uncover roots and read the signposts that help us become aware of our particular dysfunctions.
Lesson 3: Tribal Sexuality The Design Of Human Sexuality
Our sexual relationships have been Tribal in nature, focused on the need for support, loyalty, security and comfort. With the coming mutation, our approach to sexuality is changing, and Tribal relationships are slowly breaking down. In this lesson, Ra describes the Tribal sexuality of the past and how we will experience relationships in the future.
Lesson 4: Individual Sexuality The Design Of Human Sexuality
Individual sexuality is emotional, romantic, and verbal. In this lesson, Ra discusses the moodiness, the provocativeness, and most importantly, the acoustic aspect of this type of sexuality — the ways we use words, music and poetry to communicate with each other in relationship, and communicate who we are. Why is the acoustic so important, and what role does it play?
Lesson 5: Collective Sexuality The Design Of Human Sexuality
The Tribe bargains, the Individual romanticizes and experiences unrequited love, and the Collective is driven by the human experiential way. In this lesson Ra explores the specifics of the human experiential way and its relationship to our sexuality. He also addresses the differences in how we experience Tribal and Individual themes and qualities in our chart.
Lesson 6: Sexuality Keynotes and Voices
Keynoting is an integral part of Human Design in understanding the nuances within the system and how energy moves. The keynotes of Ego sexuality (Tribe), Emotional sexuality (Individual), and Kundalini sexuality (Collective) are explained, as well as the keynotes of Individual and Collective Voices. Why doesn’t the Tribe have a voice? And how can we build a Maia rooted in our true nature?
Lesson 7: Caring The Design Of Human Sexuality
Nurturing is a fundamental part of our human sexuality, and makes possible the bond that sustains the Penta of family. Ra reveals the role of the Splenic Center in this process and how different aspects of caring can be perfectly correct when lived with awareness. He also delves into the influence of the 27th Gate and the 50th Gate as guides to nurturing and caring appropriately.
Lesson 8: Themes of Individual Caring | Self-Caring
In our homogenized world, self-focus is generally frowned upon and those who are self-caring often carry a sense of guilt, or are made to feel guilty. But some of us are designed to be self-concerned; those individuals are, in fact, a blessing to themselves and to others. How can those with this type of Design experience satisfying relationships?
Lesson 9: Themes of Individual Caring | The Caring Stream of Romance
This lesson dives more deeply into the topic of Individual caring. How is this type of caring experienced in relationships where the individual may be perceived as selfish and indifferent? Ra further examines individual caring and how it displays, and which aspects in others’ charts can help bring forth caring in these particular Designs. Learn how relationships can be maintained even with an individual focus on self-caring.
Lesson 10: Kundalini Caring | The Caring Stream of Perfection
Those of us who have predominantly collective Definition in our Design want to nurture, and are inclined to change and improve things we think need correcting. But this inclination can lead us down a rabbit hole and into depression and hopelessness. How can those with a predominantly collective Definition achieve what Ra refers to as “enlightened selfishness”?
Lesson 11: Instinctive and Ego Caring The Design Of Human Sexuality
Our approach to Caring can be rooted in our Design or influenced by the Not-Self. The final variation of caring is expressed through success on the material plane, and giving and receiving support. How can we care in a way that sustains our own health and brings satisfaction in our relationships? Ra guides us in recognizing the value of what we are not, and living our unique identity as who we are.
