Identify if the entry is bullish or bearish and confirm the signal on the 5 and 10 min charts for entering the trade.

Determine at what profit target, price level, and time length you may look to cover the long strike.

Decide what type of spread you will look to cover the long strike with

Cover the trade when profit target, length of time passed, or price level of support/resis -tance hits.

Look to close the spread within the next few days depending on the expiration. If it was a same day expiration then allow it to settle into the close.
