He has trained with some of the greatest martial arts experts in the world including Dan Inosanto (he is a senior instructor with him), the late Edgar Sulite (founder of Lameco Escrima), the Dog Brothers, Paul Vunak, Share Lew and many others.

He is considered by many to be one of the foremost experts in Filipino Martial Arts and Jeet Kune Do in Southern California and teaches at his school in Los Angeles.

At each level of learning, Grody emphasizes what is most essential and useful, from beginners to more advanced skill levels.

On this DVD, Grody teaches Kali kicking methods, Kali trapping on offense, primary shot combinations (nerve attack) and follow-up shots.
