Product Description
Arguably the most brutal mixed martial art practiced today, wrestling’s devastating arsenal of strikes, takedowns, throws, flesh-rending and bone-shattering hooks has been copied by many but mastered by only a few.
In this extraordinary video series from Paladin Press, wrestling expert Tony Cecchine teaches more street-worthy techniques, combining hard-core wrestling with brutal punches to provide you with a system of self-defense that will make you unstoppable on the streets.
In Volume One: Fundamentals, Cecchine teaches the basics of catch wrestling, focusing on the vital points of posture and footwork that will keep you stable enough to throw a powerful punch, yet mobile enough to avoid a takedown attempt.
From there, it shows you the penetration step that will put you in the perfect position for a takedown or launch, and how many instructors often get it wrong.
He also covers how to properly practice the punch, transforming it from a lazy, hands-only “swim” drill into an effective tool for developing superior hand placement and dominant body positioning.
