FAQs:
What grade is needed to pass? A passing grade for all correspondence courses is 80%. A Certificate of Completion with CECs and CEUs will be issued upon successfully passing the test.
How long does it take to complete each course? The CHEK Institute recommends 28 hours for Advanced Program Design and 10 hours for Holistic Health Performance for Women. The duration depends on the individual and their goals. Some may only watch the videos once for Continuing Education Credits, while others, especially those preparing for Integrated Movement Science Level 2, might watch the videos 2-3 times. Generally, it is suggested that students preparing for Level 2 spend about one month on each course, especially if they are working full time. Starting four months before the course is advised to allow time for studying and practicing concepts before the due date, which is 45 days before the start of the course.
Are the tests difficult? While there are many questions on the tests, thousands who have completed Integrated Movement Science Level 1 have successfully passed. Occasionally, some individuals may not pass on the first attempt but usually do so after reviewing the material again. The advantage of a video correspondence course is that the viewer can review the content as many times as needed to understand it fully. Success in this course is more about the time spent watching the videos and reading the manual than an individual’s current knowledge level.
